March 12, 2019  -  New Draft Guidlines for FSIS procedures in Customer Complaint Documentation and Recall Management have been released. These Guidelines are regarded as a response to the many recent Recalls for Adulteration (Extraneous Materials). Managers of Food Establishments that are supervised by FSIS should carefully review these Guidelines. In due course - following the Comment Period and Analysis - they will be issued in Final form. Please pay particular attention to Notification Requirements.
